Sunil Gupta to helm Fuji Xerox’s Malaysia ops

• Appointment signals a renewed focus on Fuji Xerox’s green initiative, amongst other areas
• Sunil was previously president and CEO of Xerox International Partners

DOCUMENT management solutions and services provider Fuji Xerox Co Ltd has appointed Sunil Gupta (pic) as president of Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Malaysia Operations, effective Oct 1, replacing Masahiko Saito, who had served as the company’s president since 2008.
 
The appointment of Sunil, a printing/ document services executive with 34 years’ experience, signals a renewed focus on Fuji Xerox’s green initiative, innovative solutions and services, as well as revenue, the company said in a statement.
 
Sunil was most recently president and chief executive officer of Xerox International Partners, which handles sales and support of laser printers and related consumables for original equipment manufacturing customers.
 
He joined Xerox International Partners in 1992 and led many of the company’s projects. He managed sales, marketing, and implemented strategies to enhance the company’s infrastructure. In addition, he also oversaw the automation global supply chain and financial reporting systems, Fuji Xerox said.
 
“[Sunil] is a well-known leader and one of the most forward-thinking strategists in the printing/ document services industry,” said Masashi Honda, president of Asia Pacific Operations of Fuji Xerox.

Sunil hold a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Rajasthan in India as well as a bachelor’s degree in international finance and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
