Innity expands network with Native Media and Appsploration

  • App development subsidiary Appsploration to develop new products for clients
  • Native Media to open up online video opportunities for SMEs

Innity expands network with Native Media and AppsplorationDIGITAL media network Innity has announced the establishment of two subsidiary companies -- Native Media and Appsploration – to beef up its offerings and cater to growing client demand in two key areas: Video and applications.

Appsploration, an app development subsidiary, will be focused on the development of new products to support the group's activities and develop applications for the group's clients, Innity said in a statement.

The company will be led by Simon Ong (pic), who has over 15 years of experience of programming and developing apps. Prior to joining Innity, he worked with Paragon Premiums to develop educational tablet apps for children.

The company is currently working on a cloud-based platform that will allow clients to build HTML5 rich media ads and apps. The in-development ad builder will feature cross-platform adaptability, simple coding for easy deployment, and Dynamic Creative Optimisation support.

The development of this product is expected to allow marketers to convey their brand messages effectively and effortlessly.

Native Media, on the other hand, leverages one of the industry's largest growing trends -- online video -- to address the marketer's challenge of leading consumers through a cluttered Internet to reach information and opinion about brand products.

Commercially branded as NativeVideo, Native Media's Integrated Video Marketing (IVM) is intended to enable marketers to combine the power of video, the depth of online media and the effectiveness of digital media to bring consumers through any phase of the purchase cycle, Innity said.

Innity expands network with Native Media and AppsplorationNativeVideo aspires to open doors for SMEs (small and medium enterprises) to leverage video as a platform to market their products and branding. In line with this vision, the company provides packages combining video content production, distribution and promotion of the produced content across Innity's regional network to reach the desired audience pool.

Media industry veteran Jeremy Cheam (pic), who will be leading NativeVideo, said with online video being a growing trend, SMEs are now able to afford to utilise this media format that has always been the preserve of deep-pocketed advertisers and broadcasting networks.

"NativeVideo is at the forefront of a paradigm shift in the way marketers use digital platforms, especially in the usage of video content as the primary mode of communication. With Innity's reach, we will be able to deliver viewership for marketers trying to raise brand awareness or drive conversion. The time is right and the market is ready to start something like this," he said.

With Innity's expansive network across the region as grounds for promotion, clients will also be ensured a wide audience reach and interaction, subsequently enjoying a higher volume of sales, he claimed.
