11street entices shoppers to ‘Shop The World’

ONLINE marketplace 11street is bringing the world closer to online shoppers with its newly launched ‘Shop The World’ campaign

11street vice president of marketing communications Wong Siew Lai says that it will be bringing in millions of internationally-branded products from countries such as China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and United States throughout the campaign which will run from March 11 to April 18

“With this campaign, we want to show customers that they don’t necessarily need to travel overseas to buy the best international brands. On 11street, we have close to 10 million products listed on our platform and more than half of them are international brands,” said Wong.

Under the campaign, 11street will be working together with three global e-commerce players: its parent company 11street Korea, UiTox from Taiwan and WorldFront from Australia.

To entice customers to shop with these new international brands 11street will be offering promotions on its international products and brands with heavy discounts and free overseas shopping for selected items.

To liven up the campaign 11street has also tied up with global brands such as Coleman, Laneige, MamyPoko, MSI and Philips AVENT. New to 11street is Primer Group, a local distributor of international fashion brands such as Flossy, Jansport, Native and Outdoor Products.

On top of that 11street says that it will be giving away a total of US$224,643 (RM1 million) worth of petrol vouchers for consumers purchasing items from the campaign listings.

“Our ‘Shop The World’ campaign is only the beginning to what we have in the pipeline for our shoppers as we continue to boost our product variety and inventory of global brands,” Wong said.

“We want to bring the convenience of shopping to all Malaysians regardless if they are in Terengganu or in Kuala Lumpur. For those living out of big cities, they may not have the access to all the brands they want, so we are helping them fulfil this need,” she added.
