Alibaba Cloud launches programme to support digitalisationAlibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, has announced the launch its Alibaba Cloud Digital Empowerment Program.

The company said the programme will better support local digitalisation and accelerate ecosystem innovation amid the post pandemic era. 

Alibaba Cloud launches programme to support digitalisationAccording to Alibaba Cloud, the new program will consist of various aspects including cloud credits empowerment, training workshops and dedicated technology services, targeting key industries with huge demands in digital transformation such as internet, finance and retail, among others.

Kun Huang (pic), general manager of Malaysia, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, said to grow and thrive in a post-Covid-19 world, it is vital for local businesses in Malaysia to adopt digital transformation to future proof their businesses.

“As a cloud service provider with two local data centres, Alibaba Cloud will continue to invest in providing cloud computing infrastructure and services and industry know-how for our customers and partners to enhance their business,” he said.

Alibaba Cloud said its recent technology conference showcased various industry experts who featured key trends and development of internet related industries in the cloud to empower Malaysian tech professionals to develop their respective fields. 

The conference also highlighted the importance of cloud management and software, operations automation skills, as well as organisational paradigms to support digital businesses, it said.

The company added that aside from Alibaba Cloud speakers, other speakers who are emerging players shared their thoughts on how Alibaba Cloud has supported their business for the next wave of innovation in the digital ecosystem.
