Ambient Digital Philippines appoints Matt Robinson as CEO

- Retains COO position for the group’s five markets
- Former GroupM CIO has ‘extensive’ regional experience
AMBIENT Digital Philippines (ADP) said it has appointed Matt Robinson (pic above) as chief executive officer, a newly created position.
Robinson is currently Ambient Digital Group (ADG) chief operating officer across all of the group’s five markets, and he will retain this position in addition to his new assignment, ADG said in a statement.
ADG provides integrated online advertising campaigns. ADP itself has been operating in the Philippines since mid-2012.
“Matt [Robinson] has been acting as country head of ADP since January 2015 and has presided over a period of strong growth, an expanded team, and our move to new premises,” said ADG chief executive officer Andrew Stephens.
“This is therefore a logical development as we continue to expand our already very strong Philippines offering,” he added.
Prior to joining ADG in January 2014, Robinson was the Asia Pacific chief information officer for GroupM, and has extensive experience across the Asia Pacific region, the company said.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time in the ‘caretaker’ role and am delighted that this has been made a permanent position,” said Robinson.
