Lim will be responsible for accelerating business growth, optimising sales coverage and building the partner ecosystem across Asia South, a key growth region for CA Technologies.
CA Technologies’ Asia South market comprises Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and other countries in Asean (the Association of South-East Asian Nations), the company said in a statement.
Lim will report directly to Kenneth Arredondo, its president and general manager of Asia Pacific and Japan, it added.
“With our commitment to and focus on accelerating growth in Asia South, we are pleased to have Nick [Lim], an accomplished veteran, join our senior leadership team,” said Arredondo.
“Nick has extensive experience in enterprise software sales covering Asean markets. His impressive track record of exceeding targets and building successful teams will help drive CA’s market leadership in this region,” he added.
A veteran with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Lim most recently served as managing director of South-East Asia for BMC Software.
He has held key leadership positions including country manager of Singapore and the lead of the solutions specialisation team for Asia Pacific over the course of his 16-year tenure at BMC Software, CA Technologies said in its statement.
Prior to that, he was with TMT Technology.
“I am excited to be joining CA Technologies at this pivotal point where the company is building some of the strongest solutions in the market to help our customers navigate disruptive trends such as DevOps and big data, and enable them to succeed in the application economy,” said Lim.
“I am looking forward to delivering deeper value and innovation to our customers and partners in Asia South,” he added.
Lim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing & Information Systems awarded by the University of London.
