With customers in 37 countries, US$63.6mil revenue, Macrokiosk Ciptaan Malaysia powers ahead

Minister of Digital Malaysia, Gobind Singh Deo visited Macrokiosk Malaysia yesterday, a leading Asian enterprise solutions company as it celebrated its 24th anniversary as a proud Ciptaan Malaysia company with the official opening of its office, a Green Building Index (GBI) Gold-Certified certified office tower that houses approximately 200 staff across 21,000 sq ft on the 35th floor.  

In his second visit to Macrokiosk since 2019, Gobind commended the company’s progress over the last five years, and for setting an example of how a Ciptaan Malaysia (Created in Malaysia) company has played a role on the global stage by driving digital solution innovation across Asia and beyond serving over 5,000 customers from 37 countries across 24 industries. It plans to add two more industries - Robotics and Electric Vehicles.                                                                                                “Heartiest congratulations to Macrokiosk on turning 24 this month. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, you have set a benchmark for excellence in the industry. Your efforts in developing robust digital platforms have enabled businesses to overcome challenges and seize opportunities in a rapidly evolving market,” said Gobind. He later added in a LinkedIN post that their success, "demonstrates that Malaysian innovation can be on par with – or even surpass – those in more developed countries."

Gobind had a first look at how Macrokiosk has successfully integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology into its enterprise solutions platform that will be launched for businesses.

Kenny Goh, co-founder and CEO of Macrokiosk, said the new office will catapult Macrokiosk to the next phase of growth as it develops and introduces relevant digital solutions for businesses and everyday life.

One of the first Malaysian companies to receive MSC Pioneer status in 2001, Macrokiosk has come a long way and today has a multinational talent pool from 18 nationalities, where up to 80% of its 250 total headcount is based in the Malaysian office. It has been part of MDEC’s Gateway, Amplification, Invest, Nurturing (GAIN) programme since 2017.

Serving its 5,000 customers across 37 countries translates into more than 10 million daily end-user interactions on its enterprise solutions platform, which then translates to more than 8 billion transactions annually for the company which had US$63.6 million (RM300 million) revenue in 2023.

“It is our mission to champion Macrokiosk as a Ciptaan Malaysia enterprise solutions platform company to play an active role in the nation’s digital transformation roadmap,” Kenny said, adding, “we power more than 90% of digital solution engagements in Malaysia.”
