KUALA Lumpur-based regional webhosting and e-commerce solutions provider Exabytes Network Sdn Bhd announced that it is rolling out its EasyStore e-commerce solution and its EasyParcel one-stop logistics solution in Taiwan.
The launch is in conjunction with Exabytes’ participation at E-Commerce Expo Asia 2015 being held in Taipei from Oct 6-9, as part of a Malaysian showcase organised by national ICT custodian Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), the company said in a statement.
“E-Commerce Expo Asia 2015 is the ideal platform for us to introduce … EasyStore and EasyParcel … to an established and growing pool of Taiwanese e-merchants,” said Exabytes founder and chief executive officer Chan Kee Siak (pic above).
EasyStore is Exabytes’ flagship e-commerce offering, and is complemented by EasyParcel, Chan said.
“While e-commerce transactions take place solely online, SMEs (small and medium enterprises) face the hassle of transporting their goods.
“EasyParcel will be very handy for [Taiwanese merchants] in reaching out to Malaysia’s significant population of e-commerce buyers,” he added.
EasyParcel allows merchants to select from a variety of logistics providers, and compare prices and packages on a single site, Exabytes said.
“Both EasyStore and EasyParcel will help Taiwanese e-merchants expand their business into Malaysia, and (eventually) Malaysian e-merchants to the Taiwan market as well,” said Chan.
