- FavePay to be rolled out across all stores nationwide over the next few months
FAVE, the leading loyalty and rewards cum mobile cashless payment platform in Southeast Asia, has formed a partnership with Food Republic, which will begin accepting mobile payments via FavePay.
Food Republic, which is part of the BreadTalk Group, has already begun accepting FavePay at selected stalls across all 14 food courts.
Food Republic has a total of 300 eateries across 14 food courts. Consumers will enjoy 10% cashback for their transactions at selected food stalls, namely Hot & Cold, Juice Bar, Ice Shop, Balestier Bak Kut Teh, Sergeant Chicken Rice, HeiNui Teppanyaki and Fragrant Hot Pot across all 14 food courts.
After this pilot phase, Food Republic expects FavePay to be rolled out across all stores nationwide over the next few months.
“We are very proud and honoured to welcome the most iconic and grand dame of food courts, Food Republic onto FavePay. As one of Singapore’s leading F&B chains, we aim to collectively drive Singapore’s cashless initiatives to all Food Republic consumers and also help this mega brand in driving loyalty amongst their consumers through cashback incentives for each mobile payment made,” said Fave managing director Aik-Phong Ng.
Ng also added that “one of the biggest factors that hinders the adoption of mobile payments among F&B businesses is the complexity, high investment cost in both terminals and transaction fees in setting up a new payment platform. With FavePay, we want to provide businesses with a convenient, low cost and quick-to-market way to easily accept mobile payments, coupled with discovery tools tapping into Fave App, to acquire and retain new customers through deals and cashback loyalty programmes.”
“After looking at various cashless payment options available, we decided on FavePay as it is user-friendly for both customers and Food Republic operators. The best choice to make when selecting a cashless and loyalty rewards programme to work with.
With FavePay’s unique Cashback system, we are confident customers will adopt mobile cashless payment and at the same time get customers returning to Food Republic more often.” said Kelvin Sia, senior manager of F&B, Breadtalk Group.
FavePay now has now close to 2,000 merchant acceptance locations in Singapore, from Tung Lok Group to Pontian Wanton Noodles, Auntie Anne’s, Famous Amos and now Food Republic, making it one of the leading loyalty rewards and mobile payments platform in the city-state.
Through investments in technology development and data sciences, Fave’s product roadmap will see upcoming product offerings that will help local businesses with deeper consumer analytics and CRM tools to better understand, reach and target relevant customers through hyperlocal targeting, behavioural analytics and personalised offers.
