Lenovo appoints Varinderjit Singh as GM for Malaysia

 

LENOVO, a leader in PC manufacturing has announced that Varinderjit Singh (pic) will be the general manager for Malaysia.

In his role, Varinderjit will be overseeing the overall growth of the Lenovo Malaysia business. He will also be leading the organisation as Lenovo continues to place customers at the heart of their innovation and services.

Varinderjit brings with him more than 28 years of global experience in the technology sector. Prior to joining Lenovo, he was the managing director for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, based in Malaysia.

He has also previously overseen markets such as Asia, the United States and Europe. He started his career as systems engineer at Mesiniaga Malaysia and has since worked at other global technology companies include 3Com, NEC Computers, Dell, Samsung and Microsoft.

He will be replacing Khoo Hung Chuan who will be transitioning to a regional role for Central Asia Pacific. In his new role, Khoo will be focusing on Education Transform and Development. 

The education sector is an important vertical for Lenovo. With Khoo’s deep understanding and experience in this sector, he will be able to navigate the complex requirements of this industry across the different markets.
