Ninja Van Malaysia Names Lin Zheng as New CEO in a Strategic Move

Ninja Van Malaysia, the leading tech-enabled logistics company, has announced the promotion of Lin Zheng (pic) as its new CEO, succeeding Adzim Halim, who has taken on the role of Group Chief International Officer.

With an illustrious career steeped in collaboration and innovation within the company, Lin’s appointment highlights Ninja Van Malaysia’s commitment to fostering talent development within the organisation and delivering operational excellence for both shippers and shoppers.

“I am honoured to take on this new role as CEO of Ninja Van Malaysia as the company continues towards a future of growth and innovation. My vision is to drive the expansion of our business units, transforming us into a strategic partner for our customers,” Lin Zheng said. 

“By providing comprehensive solutions beyond last-mile, we can engage customers across the value chain, delivering not just packages, but innovation that redefines the logistics landscape,” he added.

As Ninja Van Malaysia continues to fortify its position as a leading tech-enabled logistics company, Lin in his new role as CEO, is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration among employees. He aims to facilitate improved teamwork and synergy, leveraging the strengths of Ninja Van Malaysia, including its extensive network across various regions and customised services such as Logistics+, a suite of supply chain management solutions for SMEs in Southeast Asia.

In his previous role as Ninja Van Malaysia’s chief operating officer, Lin played a pivotal role in scaling the organisation's infrastructure and processes. Today, Ninja Van Malaysia provides 100% coverage nationwide with over 5,500 Pick Up & Drop Off points to bring a quick and seamless delivery experience to shippers and shoppers.

Lin was also instrumental in launching the Shah Alam automated hub. Standing at 260,000 sq ft, it is the largest automated hub for Ninja Van Malaysia. Equipped with an integrated automation system, the hub has increased daily parcel processing capability by 50%.

Lin began his tenure at Ninja Van as the vice president of Regional Operations, overseeing warehouse functions across six markets: Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, The Philippines, and Thailand. After transitioning to the role of COO in Malaysia in 2018, he was tasked with directing the organisation's day-to-day operations and protocols.

Before his time at Ninja Van, Lin was involved in the management consulting and the telecommunications industries. An alumnus of Singapore Management University, he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Management and Accountancy.
