​​Proofpoint appoints Evan Dumas as VP of SEA, Korea

• Brings over 20 years of experience to this role
• Will be responsible for growing Proofpoint’s business within SAK

Proofpoint Inc has announced the appointment of Evan Dumas (pic) to lead the Southeast Asia and Korea (SAK) region as vice president. 

In a statement, the cybersecurity and compliance company said in this role, Dumas will be responsible for establishing and growing Proofpoint’s business within SAK, as well as positioning the company as a leader in people-centric cyber security solutions. 

He will report directly to Alex Lei, senior vice president, Asia Pacific and Japan for Proofpoint, the firm added.

Dumas brings with him over 20 years of experience from Silicon Valley to Asia Pacific. Most recently, he led the enterprise sales team for Asia and India at Pluralsight. 

Prior to that, he was regional director, Southeast Asia and Korea at Check Point for three and a half years and was instrumental in leading the team to achieve sustained double-digit growth across all products and services, the company said.
