SAS appoints new managing director for Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam to accelerate data analytics growth in the region

SAS, the global leader in AI and analytics software, has announced the appointment of Febrianto Siboro (pic) as the new managing director for Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. This move aims to fortify the company’s presence in Southeast Asia, leveraging regional synergies and capitalising on the growth of the data analytics market in the region.

In his new role, Siboro will lead in driving business growth in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, formimg a cluster under his leadership. His focus will be on cultivating and strengthening channel partnerships, fostering collaboration with key stakeholders, and enhancing customer satisfaction by empowering businesses and organisations on their digital transformation journey through advanced analytics.

Siboro said, "With Indonesia and Vietnam amongst the top largest digital economies in Southeast Asia as well as the fastest in the region, the potential for data analytics to drive business value and transformation is immense.
