SAS appoints Randy Goh as MD for Singapore

SAS, the global leader in analytics software and services, has promoted Randy Goh (pix) to the role of managing director for Singapore. In his new role, Goh will be responsible for growing the Singapore business and enabling organisations across industries to leverage big data and automation through advanced analytical capabilities like artificial intelligence and machine learning.
SAS vice president for ASEAN Andy Zook, to whom Goh reports to, welcomes his appointment. “Randy has almost 20 years of experience in driving analytics businesses in Singapore, building key customer relationships with a deep understanding of analytics and working alongside them to realise the value it brings. With Singapore taking on the ASEAN chair this year, we are excited for the opportunity to continue working with our customers to accelerate transformation with analytics.”
SAS has been working with customers and partners across sectors in Singapore for 35 years. In addition, SAS continues to play a key role in data science and analytics workforce development with its Business Intelligence and Analytics program. “I am excited to be heading up a talented and passionate team in Singapore,” said Goh. “We have been in Singapore for over three decades, building the Analytics Economy and its lifecycle with customers from financial services, governments, manufacturing and other industries.” Prior to taking on the role of managing director, Goh was the deputy managing director and general manager sales for SAS Singapore, where he primarily focused on expanding its footprint in the financial services industry, especially in the areas of big data, risk and fraud.
