Silver Peak appoints Tricia Png as regional director of Asean

• Appointment further strengthens Asean operations

SILVER Peak, a provider of broadband and hybrid WAN solutions, announced the appointment of Tricia Png as regional director for Asean.

Responsible for executing the Silver Peak sales and channel strategy across the region, Png will focus on extending the company’s market share and driving the growing demand for SD-WAN solutions.

She brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise IT sales, channel and product marketing for top networking and security solutions providers spanning Blue Coat Systems (acquired by Symantec), Certis Cisco, Lucent Technologies and Nortel Networks.

According to Png, Silver Peak delivers complete SD-WAN solutions and empowers distributed enterprises to fully leverage on cloud services. It intelligently connects users to mission-critical applications through virtual WANs using any combination of broadband connectivity.

She is confident that the company's market expansion and growth will be fueled by the strong business case for SD-WAN solutions –  performance and QoS, visibility and security, as well as potential to reduce costs appreciably.
