U Mobile expands leadership team

• Chen Chiat Chiat is the company’s chief financial officer
• Tan Soon Han will head the new ISMS division

U MOBILE announces the appointment of Chen Chiat Chiat as the company’s chief financial officer. She replaces Tan Hoon San who has moved into a new role as the company’s chief corporate officer, heading the company’s Corporate Office, a new division that oversees Customer Care, Customer Experience, Corporate Services and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

Chiat Chiat joins U Mobile after an 18-year career with StarHub Group in various finance roles which included operational financial controls and advocacy of financial disciplines in the group’s businesses.

She was most recently the vice-president of Corporate Finance & Group Businesses at StarHub Group.

Tan Hoon San was selected to head the new division as his vast knowledge at U Mobile and various other telcos is invaluable to the company’s quest to uplift its customer care and experience whilst bringing even more efficiency to strategies related to employees and information systems.
