Wonderspire Group Berhad and Annems Leadership Solution Sdn Bhd have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to pursue a significant educational goal — empowering one million high-impact learners over the next five years.
During the ceremony, Mohammed Shafeeq Zulkifli, (pic) CEO of Wonderspire Group Berhad, expressed his hope that this collaboration would nurture the "next-best Elon Musk of SpaceX and Tesla, or the next-best Bill Gates from our ecosystem of learning.
He emphasised the challenges faced by children today, including the influence of addictive gaming, non-productive social media, bullying, and pornography. As educators, their goal is to provide a holistic approach for children to thrive in a productive learning environment and become solution creators.
Wonderspire, a combination of "Inspire" and "Wonders," was founded by Mohammed Shafeeq with the aim of nurturing high-impact innovators capable of leading scalable solutions for global economic stability and sustainable happiness. The company believes that formal learning alone is insufficient to shape a transformational culture in society. Therefore, they have built an innovative learning ecosystem that spans from preschool to young adults, focusing on competency and lifestyle development.
Wonderspire Academy offers key learning modules, including identity development as innovators (problem-solving, critical thinking, self-leadership, and creativity) and digital skills (coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and mobile app development). These skills are expected to be in high demand in the industry in the coming years, enhancing career development and business relevance.
To empower parents at home, Wonderspire offers the WERA App, helping them stay informed about their children's academic progress and well-being.
Mohammed Shafeeq highlighted the firm’s use of technology to provide personalised learning and innovation. “Our goal is to help learners acquire essential skill sets for self-independence and leadership in the industry. He emphasised their belief that learning should be a fulfilling journey filled with excitement, creativity, motivation, and tangible results. Shafeeq received the Outstanding Leadership Award in Education and Learning in Dubai in 2022.
President of Annems Leadership Solution, Faridah Hanim, noted that the MoU represents significant growth for their firm, which originally started as an organisational and leadership training outlet in 2015. She stated, “Over the past eight years, we have evolved into a credible leadership and organisational development center serving small and medium enterprises not only in Malaysia but also internationally,”
Faridah emphasised that the collaboration between Wonderspire and Annems aligns with Annems' objective to cultivate skills and enhance motivation in individuals, positively. This, she noted, would impact key performance outcomes and sustainable long-term development at all levels of interaction.
Annems offers tailored solutions and consultancy services, backed by extensive research expertise and access to emerging approaches in Leadership and Organizational Development. They emphasise a dynamic approach to Human Capital Development, applying practical learning to real-world situations to maximize learning transfer, create impact, and enhance return on investment.
Faridah expressed excitement about embarking on this journey with Wonderspire and looks forward to the future of their collaboration.
