SINGAPORE-based virtualisation and cloud solutions company CloudFX Group and Malaysia’s national ICT custodian Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) have launched of the Malaysian-centric next-generation cloud service marketplace MalaysiaOneCloud.
The business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform will serve as a central repository for secure, available and high-performance cloud services from proven global, regional and local cloud service providers, CloudFX said in a statement.
These services will include CRM (customer relationship management), ERP (enterprise resource planning), accounting, finance, communication, mobility, infrastructure, storage, e-mail, backup, security, network, data centre services, and others.
The collaboration between CloudFX and MDeC, announced earlier this year, will accelerate cloud adoption, it added.
“With MalaysiaOneCloud, we are bringing cloud technology into the mainstream and making it more accessible than ever,” said MDeC’s Infotech vice president Norhizam Abdul Kadir.
“Businesses can easily identify and choose the ideal cloud solutions for their needs with full disclosure of what they are paying for,” he added.
MalaysiaOneCloud will provide a broad range of local independent software vendors’ (ISVs) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, and also the best breed of international cloud products and services available, CloudFX said.
This partnership between CloudFX and MDeC will help local ISVs accelerate their cloud platform migration process and increase their revenue and exposure in regional and global markets, the company claimed.
