Dematic expands APAC footprint with new office, more hires

SUPPLY chain solutions provider Dematic has opened a new office in Thailand and said it has made multiple hires across the region, although it did not specify numbers.
Dematic supplies integrated automated technology, software and services to optimise the supply chain, it said in a statement.
“Dematic established a presence in Asean in 1971, opening our first office in Singapore in 1986,” said Dematic Asean/ANZ chief executive officer Glen Borg (pic above).
“Due to our track record of success and a growing demand in the region, we have since expanded into Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, and recently, Thailand,” he added.
Dematic said it employs close to 100 specialists in the region in engineering, customer service, logistics IT, and highly complex integrated materials handling systems.
