BSD City launches Techpolitan to nurture tech-savvy youngsters

• Supports the Sinar Mas Land’s programme to develop a digital ecosystem in BSD City
• Classes involve collaboration with parties experienced in the field of digital technology

SINAR Mas Land, a property developer in Indonesia, launched Techpolitan at The Breeze BSD City. In line with the acceleration plan of BSD City as an integrated smart digital city, Techpolitan was built as an educational and entertainment space intended for youth to express their interest and creative spirit in the digital technology industry.

Techpolitan is an edutainment space that is intended as a digital hub for young people to attend training classes in coding, animation designs, and game development.

Techpolitan aims to bridge the gap between the needs of the digital industry and the skills of Indonesian youth. Techpolitan actively accommodates Indonesian youth’s enthusiasm, interest and talent through four pillars, namely, entertainment, education, employment, and empowerment.

Techpolitan will provide classes that focus on fostering youth talent in the field of digital technology. The class that Techpolitan presents involves collaboration with parties who are experienced in digital technology such as Geeks Farm, and Sangnila Arts Academy. Some of these classes include 3D Design & Animation classes, Game & Design Making classes, and Coding classes.

Not only focusing on theory, Techpolitan will also realise the results of the creations produced from the classes provided. One of them is by realising the results of 3D Design & Animation animation creations in real form. The results of this animation creation will be realised in three-dimensional (3D) form through 3D printer technology.

One of the most prominent advantages inherent in 3D printing is its ability to produce custom designs. This will be very useful if needed to replace one of the parts that are damaged in an existing product.
