Grab-GreenTech Malaysia offer sizzling rides with Tesla’s S85

• Only applicable for GrabPay users, Grab’s debit/credit payment platform
• Two Tesla S85 to ply selected Klang Valley neighbourhoods from 14-16 Oct

 
GO for your appointments over the next three days in total style and class, thanks to a sizzling partnership between Grab and Green Tech Corporation Malaysia (GreenTech Malaysia).
 
For the first time in Malaysia, Grab in partnership with GreenTech Malaysia is officially offering Grab users to experience the Tesla Model S85 (pic) for the first time. This iconic electric vehicle (EV) accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. It has also been awarded a five-star safety rating.
 
“This is a huge milestone for us to be able to partner with Green Tech Malaysia and support their efforts to enhance awareness on the feasibility and benefits of EVs. And we are excited to offer our passengers this once-in-a-lifetime ride experience in the world’s best EV, Tesla Model S 85. The Tesla Model S 85 is a bespoke state of the art car and represents the car of the future!” said Jaygan Fu, Country Head of Grab Malaysia.
 
Speaking on the partnership, Ahmad Hadri Haris, group CEO of GreenTech Malaysia said, “In support of the Government’s vision to develop sustainable transportation for the country, GreenTech Malaysia has been promoting and raising awareness about the role of EVs to key decision makers and the general public. In this regard we are pleased that Grab, the leading ride-hailing platform in the region, is on board with us to support our EV movement.”
 
Beginning on Friday, Oct 14 to Sunday, Oct 16, 2016 from 10am to 6pm, Grab users can book a ride in two Tesla Model S85 via the special icon for only RM15 per ride. In addition to that, as a surprise bonus, one of the cars will be driven by celebrity DJ J.J. Fernandez.
 
Available at selected areas within the Klang Valley – Bangsar, Sri Hartamas, Mont Kiara, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Ampang, Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, Bandar Utama and Mutiara Damansara – the ride is only applicable for GrabPay users, Grab’s cashless debit/credit payment platform.
