- Efficient and swift vaccination appointment management with BOLD. solutions
- Automate configuration & delivery of messages for appointment update, confirmation
Macrokiosk, a leading digital technology company in Asia and a national digital accelerator in Malaysia, is playing a vital role in driving the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) in Malaysia in collaboration with DOC2US, a homegrown healthtech company which has been appointed as one of the healthcare organisers under the programme.
BOLD., a Macrokiosk solution, has been deployed to enable a more efficient and swift vaccination appointment management for vaccinees at Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC) with plans to roll out to other vaccination centres (also known as Pusat Pemberian Vaksin or PPV) across Malaysia that are managed by DOC2US.
Leveraging BOLD. Configurable Interactive Chat, DOC2US can configure, automate and deliver timely one-to-one messages via WhatsApp to vaccinees for appointment update, confirmation and reminder. Vaccinees who receive the messages in real-time can then confirm, reject or reschedule their appointments with ease and on-the-spot via WhatsApp.
Henry Goh, Cofounder and Group Chief Operating Officer, Macrokiosk, said, “We are most certainly proud to be able to support PICK and collaborate with DOC2US with our BOLD. solutions, which empower various communication needs in multiple industries, including healthcare. To date, BOLD. is the first digital solution to enable the delivery of automated vaccination appointment messages, and we are excited to kickstart the adoption of digital technology across the programme.”
Dr Raymond Choy, cofounder and Chief Executive Officer, DOC2US, said, “Manual notification is a tedious process and we are happy that BOLD. solutions have made it a more streamlined process for our team. We hope to have the opportunity to scale up and encourage more PPVs to employ digital solutions for the efficient execution of the vaccination programme for the benefit of the rakyat.”
Tan Aik-Keong, Chief Technology Officer, DOC2US and Chief Executive Officer, Agmo Studio Sdn Bhd, said, “It is our first time implementing a WhatsApp automation system, and we only had a week’s time from conceptulisation to production. We are thankful to Macrokiosk business development and technical teams who worked round-the-clock with us to achieve this on schedule.”
The collaboration between Macrokiosk and DOC2US has helped to enhance the vaccinees’ registration experience and overall immunisation journey to boost the nation’s vaccination rate through digital solutions.
Macrokiosk is committed in playing its part in the fight against COVID-19 and continues to support the Malaysian government’s efforts in the rollout of the national immunisation programme to achieve herd immunity and safeguard the wellbeing of the rakyat.
