Media Prima Labs launches e-sports news and content portal MyGameOn

MEDIA Prima Labs launched its new online portal, MyGameOn that provides e-sports news, reviews and events, featuring both local and international content.
The launch was held at Level Up 2017 and attended by Media Prima Labs and Operation group general manager Nicholas Sagau, Media Prima Bhd group managing director Kamal Khalid, MDEC chief executive officer Yasmin Mahmood and MDEC Creative Content & Technologies Division vice president Hasnul Hadi.
MyGameOn aims to serve as a comprehensive local e-sports news portal that focuses on content for Malaysian audiences.
The portal targets urban and sub-urban youth aged between 12 and 25 who love gaming and stay up-to-date on the latest e-sports trends, news and tournaments.
Key partners behind the development of MyGameOn include MDEC and Garena, which also serve as content providers by recruiting young developers and offering exclusive access to e-sports such as League of Legends, FIFA and more.
MyGameOn also acts as a platform that provides gaming news, reviews and interviews from Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Apart from live streaming of all the latest e-sports tournaments, events that focus on local developments, indie developers, meet ups, e-sports tournaments and leagues will also be featured.
Users will be able to check game schedules, details, team reviews and purchase tickets to tournaments.
This portal also serves as a platform to expose and encourage more talented game developers to expand their horizons.
“We are beyond excited to launch this new online portal which will be a great platform for gamers and game lovers to be in touch with. We hope MyGameOn will also be a place to expose more young and talented developers and expand their expertise and interest in the game development industry,” said Sagau.
