Nominations open for MSC Malaysia APICTA Awards 2014

THE submission of nominations for the MSC Malaysia APICTA Awards 2014 organised by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and the National ICT Association of Malaysia (Pikom) opened on April 1.
 
The nominations must be submitted online at www.mscmalaysia.my/apicta. The full list of categories of awards and additional information can be obtained from the same website.
 
The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2014, MDeC said in a statement.
 
The MSC Malaysia Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA) is an international awards programme aimed at providing a platform for individuals, students, small and medium enterprises, innovators and entrepreneurs in the ICT industry to showcase their products and services.
 
They also get an opportunity to compete at the international level. This year's would be the 15th in the series.
 
At last year’s awards, mobile payment company Soft Space International Sdn Bhd won the ‘Best of Malaysian Startup Companies’ and ‘Best Financial Application’ awards, while MDT Innovations Sdn Bhd won ‘Best of Communication Applications,’ Movetech Sdn Bhd won ‘Best of Industrial Applications,’ among others.
