ACCUPASS, an AI and Big Data company from Taiwan, held a brand launch called “Shape Future Events - Take your events to the next level” on Dec 12 at the Selangor Digital Creative Centre (SDCC) in i-City, Shah Alam.

Accupass applies AI and Big Data technologies into event planning, which enables clients to increase their efficiency with event organisation.

For many of Taiwan’s startup companies willing to break into the Southeast Asian (SEA) market, Malaysia has become a prime choice due to the maturing  digital economy environment it offers.

Malaysia boasts an advanced internet infrastructure, boosted by a geographical advantage by being in the centre of Asean, and a population that is fluent in both Chinese and English.

Freeza Huang, Asia Pacific general manager of Accupass, said “The average of economic growth rate of Asean has risen above the world’s average. A 600 million population and economic momentum have contributed to the increase of consumption in SEA. Both B2B and B2C markets have been developing prosperously. This is why Accupass is keen to break into the SEA market," he says.

“Accupass recently has been devoted to applying AI (artificial intelligence) to event planning services, such as Facepass, Chatbot (automatic ticket selling), and Accupai (photo optimisation service). We look forward to creating an ecosphere for the events industry in the Chinese region.”

Accupass and Huodongxing, the sister brand customised for the Mainland China market, claim to have become the biggest event platforms with most of their events in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2018, Accupass entered the overseas market, targeting Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and more.

Using vertical integration from registration to event data analysis, Acccpass provides a one-stop service for comprehensive requirements in event planning.

Accupass’ O2O (online to offline) model and event planning consultants also boost the development of the events industry. As an event accelerator, Accupass is expecting to explore the blue-ocean market in the field.
