Answers-in-Law in deal with AirAsia BIG loyalty program LEGAL expenses indemnity service Answers-in-Law has introduced a joint program with AirAsia BIG which will enable Answers-in-Law subscribers to get BIG reward points when they sign up for or renew their subscription.

BIG is low-cost carrier AirAsia’s global loyalty program whose members, known as BIG Shots, can earn points by making transactions with BIG partners worldwide and then redeem accumulated points for rewards including AirAsia flights and hotel packages.

Answers-in-Law offers the public access to umbrella legal protection. With this collaboration, anyone subscribing to any of the three Answers-in-Law plans will be entitled to a free BIG Prepaid Visa Card preloaded with BIG points.

For existing BIG members, they can state their BIG Shot ID when subscribing to any of Answers-in-Law plans and the relevant points will be credited to their existing membership, the legal services company said in a statement.

“Answers-in-Law aims to make legal protection part of our lifestyle, by offering Malaysians better clarity on specific areas of the law,” said Richard Devaraj, its founder and chief executive officer.

“It is also part of our ongoing efforts to give better value and perks to our members and to encourage AirAsia BIG members to be part of our growing community. We are continuously working on developing smart partnerships and plans to enrich our subscriber experience,” he added.

Answers-in-Law is designed to provide Malaysians with convenient and affordable access to legal services through a network of independent law firms across Malaysia. It offers an interactive legal directory service that assists subscribers in identifying a law firm that is available, accessible and within close proximity, to address their immediate needs.

“Answers-in-Law keeps subscribers fully indemnified for the cost of the initial legal services extended by the law firm chosen by a subscriber, under the plan subscribed," Devaraj said.

To be eligible for the benefits, one must subscribe to any of Answers-in-Law’s plans that are available for Malaysian residents aged 18 years and above – the Gold Eagle plan at RM999, Silver Eagle at RM459 or Green Eagle at RM299 per annum.

“We are constantly looking at ways to enhance our members’ experience,” said AirAsia BIG chief executive officer Alice Goh.

“In addition to all the lifestyle benefits the AirAsia BIG card offers, we want our members to also have access to affordable and hassle-free legal protection and earn points at the same time,” she added.

The Answers-in-Law plans include services such as phone, web-chat and face-to-face consultation, court representation, document drafting and review, legal correspondence service, drafting of wills and Powers of Attorney, legal services for property transactions, and negotiation and mediation services.
