Bitdefender appoints SEA Distribution distributor for Malaysia

• Alliance to boost customer service and enhance availability
• SEA Distribution won exclusive distribution rights based on its support

ANTIVIRUS solutions company Bitdefender has announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Malaysian distributor SEA Distribution Sdn Bhd.
 
In a statement, Bitdefender said its technology secures the digital experience of 400 million home and corporate users across the globe.
 
“We are looking forward to expanding our presence in Malaysia,” said Catalin Cosoi (above), Bitdefender’s chief security strategist and global communications director.
 
“This partnership combines our technology expertise with SEA Distribution’s extensive knowledge of the Malaysian market to ensure Bitdefender products are outstandingly delivered to home and business clients,” he added.
 
SEA Distribution won the Bitdefender exclusive distribution rights based on its highly skilled and experienced support, as well as strong distribution know-how approaches in the country, Bitdefender said in its statement.
 
“SEA Distribution will focus on building a stronger and streamlined market for Bitdefender in Malaysia,” said SEA Distribution executive director Michael Lim.
 
“In the months to come, we will have more campaigns and announcements, so stay tuned,” he added.
 
SEA Distribution distributes a wide range of Bitdefender home and enterprise security solutions for the Malaysian market, with technical support, sales and marketing programs for its partners.
