Fuji Xerox launches light production colour system

• Geared for in-plant operations, quick printers, commercial printers, creative agencies, photo speciality retailers, etc
• New Simple Image Quality Adjustment software automatically adjusts the registration of print jobs

FUJI Xerox Asia Pacific Pte Ltd’s Malaysia Operations has launched a light production colour system, Color C75 Press, targeted at a wide variety of markets from the graphic arts to in-house on-demand printing.
 
The Color C75 Press will meet the demands of the print on-demand market, and comes with functions, services and certification programmes to maximise press uptime, the company said in a statement.
 
“A key part of Fuji Xerox’s strategy in developing the light production colour industry is to provide a simple solution that can integrate into any print environment,” said Sunil Gupta, president of Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Malaysia Operations (pic).
 
“The Color C75Press is geared for various production settings, including in-plant operations, quick printers, commercial printers, creative agencies, photo speciality retailers and departmental environments.
 
“The press’ productivity features and media handling will appeal to both seasoned digital professionals and those entering the market,” he added.
 
Fuji Xerox's new Simple Image Quality Adjustment software automatically adjusts the registration of print jobs to help businesses print promotional documents easily and quickly in-house.
 
On-demand print jobs, which mostly output a wide variety of documents in small quantities, conventionally require troublesome manual front-to-back registration when operators change the paper type for each batch.
 
The new software automates the registration procedures when changing paper types, and consequently reduces the time for registration to about five minutes, compared to 15 to 30 minutes required with conventional methods.
 
The Color C75 Press makes it easy to start or expand a digital printing business, Fuji Xerox claimed. It can run up to 76 ppm on uncoated stocks and up to 51 ppm on coated – opening up new opportunities to produce more profitable jobs.
 
The press’ advanced scanning and copying features provide workflow efficiencies, a plus for businesses entering the digital marketplace. The integrated one-pass duplex scanner provides flexibility in handling the paper documents.
