Hootsuite appoints new VP for Asia Pacific

- Simon Trilsbach brings more than 10 years’ experience in APAC

SOCIAL media platform Hootsuite has appointed Simon Trilsbach (pic) as vice-president, Asia Pacific (APAC). He will be responsible for growing and expanding Hootsuite’s presence across the region.
“Simon’s success in scaling high-growth business and sales in Asia Pacific will add tremendous value to the Hootsuite team,” said Ryan Holmes, Hootsuite chief executive officer (CEO), in a statement.
“We have exciting plans for continued global expansion this year and we’re thrilled to have Simon’s experience at the helm,” he added.
Trilsbach brings more than 10 years’ experience driving business growth and leading sales in APAC.
Prior to joining Hootsuite, he held the role of vice-president, APAC at Social Bakers, a global social media analytics and optimisation company.
“Social media has become an integral part of all business communications across organisations,” says Trilsbach. “There is a need for these enterprises to better integrate social within the organisation, establishing an enterprise-wide social media solution.
