TECHNOLOGY solutions vendor HP has selected Anaplan’s cloud-based modelling and planning solution as part of its global sales operations transformation.
“HP’s decision to adopt Anaplan is further proof of pent-up demand from the world’s most successful and innovative companies for more powerful planning and modelling applications,” said Anaplan chief executive officer Fred Laluyaux (pic).
Anaplan is a cloud-based, in-memory modelling and planning platform for finance, sales and operations.
Its applications enable business users across organisations to intuitively and dynamically test and operationalise their plans, manage complex multi-dimensional models, collaborate across functions and regions, and share insights and content via the built-in community.
The solution’s modelling capabilities enable customers to effectively align complex sales territories and optimise sales targets to maximise sales performance.
The software leverages a patented, in-memory 'HyperBlock' calculation engine, and a 100% cloud platform to provide scalability.
Its intuitive user interface, a growing library of pre-built applications and an integrated community ease adoption and promote collaboration across sales, marketing, finance, IT and other enterprise departments, Anaplan claimed.
The company and its partners have also introduced a series of packages for finance, marketing, operations, human resources, as well as a complete sales performance management applications suite, which includes quota, territory and commissions management, real-time quote, and price optimisation.
Anaplan’s portfolio of clients includes companies like Diageo, McAfee, Pandora, HealthTrust, Aviva, Amcor, and Kimberly-Clark Eastern Europe.
