- Touts total solutions that integrate eco-friendliness and enhanced work-flow
- Includes latest eco-friendly battery-driven GelJet printer
RICOH (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has rolled out a range of new printers, including the compact black and white laser printer, the SP 112 series.
The SP 112 promises better productivity, functionality and paper handling, the company said in a statement.
The SG 3120B SFNw, Ricoh’s latest eco-friendly GelJet printer, is the company’s first battery-driven Geljet 4-in-1 Multifunction Printer (MFP) that offers up to six hours (1,000 pages) of continuous printouts.
The GelJet features patented fast-drying viscous pigment-based Liquid Gel which results in a smudge-free, water resistant, and instant-drying ink, Ricoh Malaysia said.
It also possesses the ability to switch automatically from AC to battery without disrupting the printing process, reducing energy consumption and minimising eco-footprint, the company added.
Also announced was the mobile-compatible Ricoh PJ WX4141 series Ultra Short Throw Projector, its smallest and lightest projector.
With its built-in interactivity, information written with a special stylus pen on the projected image complements products such as Ricoh’s Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) and Unified Communication Systems (UCS).
The IWB is a high-resolution display with smooth touchscreen responsiveness that enables easy remote image sharing, while the UCS provides real-time interactive audio and video communication with multiple locations.
“At Ricoh (Malaysia), we understand the daily challenges, demands and needs of our customers in attaining optimum work performance,” said Ricoh Malaysia chief operating officer Peter Wee (pic).
“With this range of products, we aim to create total solutions that integrate eco-friendliness and enhanced work-flow, supported by front-line interactive visual communication systems – all streamlined to improve the transfer of information, ultimately saving time and cost, and simultaneously promoting efficiency,” he added.
The GelJet SG 3120B SFNw is priced at RM1,999, while the new black and white multifunction SP112 series is priced between RM299 and RM669 and is available in three versions (single function, 3-in-1 and 4-in-1).
The PJ WX4141 Ultra Short Throw series projector ranges between RM6,900 and RM 9,000; while the Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) and Unified Communication Systems (UCS) are priced at RM25,000 and RM 7,000 respectively.
