BUSINESS integration and enterprise class Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions provider Seeburger has appointed CrimsonLogic eTrade Services Pte Ltd, which provides trade and logistics solutions, as its new regional reseller to offer MFT solutions in Singapore, Middle East and Africa.
CrimsonLogic eTrade Services is a subsidiary of Singapore-based e-government solutions and services provider CrimsonLogic.
“CrimsonLogic is a trusted partner to governments all over the world. We are expecting to see significant MFT solution sale opportunities arising over the next six months working with CrimsonLogic,” said Seeburger Asia Pacific regional director James Hatcher (pic, left).
The partnership also puts Seeburger in a stronger strategic position to expand its penetration into the trade and logistic community where CrimsonLogic has established strong credibility, he said.
“The alliance with CrimsonLogic is strategic in two ways. Firstly, it enhances both organisations’ global market share and customer base.
“Secondly, CrimsonLogic has made successful forays into the Middle Eastern and African markets, while Seeburger has a stronger presence in Europe and North America. The vast experience of CrimsonLogic in IT security yields great potential for Seeburger to capture new market share,” Hatcher added.
Hatcher said that data security is now a top priority in government and financial sectors.
“Every year, governments spend billion dollars on sophisticated cyber-security measures, but too often ignore the basics of protecting files, forgetting that the main data security vulnerabilities at government levels are mainly due to employees’ use of unsecure methods, such as File Transfer Protocol to exchange information,” he said.
“Seeburger’s reputation for secured file transfer solutions will enhance our position to help our customers best optimise their investments, by enabling an unprecedented degree of connectivity, visibility and collaboration in information exchange for business communications,” said CrimsonLogic eTrade Services general manager Simon Lai (pic above, right).
“Importantly, as governments and enterprises move towards managing larger volumes of information and data, as one of the world’s leading e-government solution provider, it makes business sense to be able to bring in and offer innovative solutions that will help our customers enhance their operational efficiency in a safer environment,” he added.
