TECH Mahindra Ltd announced that it is partnering with AIMS Software Pte Ltd, the Asean subsidiary of Ireland’s Quest Computing Ltd, which has developed a grant management system.
The two will work on sales and marketing, as well as focus on local systems integrators’ delivery capability, Tech Mahindra said in a statement.
“We are seeing an increasing need from government, NGOs (non-governmental organisations) and enterprises in the region for efficient and transparent administration and management of funds and grants,” said Ram Ramachandran (pic), head of Enterprise Sales for the Asean region at Tech Mahindra.
“AIMS’ enterprise-wide grant and fund management system is specifically designed for this need … .
As part of the partnership, Tech Mahindra will undertake an implementation and support role, as well as having joint go-to-market and sales initiatives,” he added.
AIMS Software and Tech Mahindra are working closely to build full AIMS certification for key delivery and support personnel in Asean. This will enable both companies to jointly provide a proven enterprise level client delivery and support service, they claimed.
“AIMS Software has invested significantly in working with the right technical and business partner for the Asean region,” said its chief executive officer Don Kingston.
“Over the past five months, we have developed an excellent working relationship with Tech Mahindra … . We are confident that our expertise in the grant making industry, together with Tech Mahindra’s regional reach and SI resources, will prove highly successful in the region,” he added.
The announcement was made during a recent Enterprise Ireland trade mission to Singapore and Malaysia led by its Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton.
Quest Computing developed a fully configurable grant management system called AIMS, which it said controls all aspects of the funding process – from initial request, through assessment and recommendations, to authorisation, payment and the subsequent monitoring of outcomes.
