Tim Fleming joins iCar Asia as general manager of media

AUSTRALIAN Securities Exchange-listed iCar Asia Pte Ltd has announced the appointment of Tim Fleming (pic) as general manager of media.
Fleming, currently the group accounts director at the REA Group in Australia, will join iCar Asia on May 19, iCar Asia said in a statement.
He brings extensive, proven expertise of devising and delivering commercial propositions to drive sales and engagement amongst various stakeholders, the Kuala Lumpur-headquartered company said in a statement.
Fleming will be responsible for iCar Asia’s media business consisting of display sales (online, print and mobile), as well as editorial and content. His responsibilities will cover all of iCar Asia’s brands including Carlist.my, LiveLifeDrive.com and EVO magazine in Malaysia; ThaiCar.com and Autospinn.com in Thailand; and Mobil123.com in Indonesia.

“He brings vast knowledge and expertise in defining and delivering strategies that further engage our stakeholders, and his commercial leadership will be invaluable as we look to strengthen our revenue streams,” he added.
With over a decade of experience behind him, Fleming has a track record of demonstrated success in various sales roles in Australia at the REA Group, News Limited, Network Ten and Clemenger Harvey Edge, iCar Asia said.
Over recent years, his consistency of performance is best highlighted by four consecutive Annual REA Business Inventive Awards, given to the best performing sales / operations staff in the company.
