Oppo launches more powerful F5 variant

• New brightly coloured F5 6GB variant offers a combination of power and style
• Big screen and large selfie camera with AI-powered recognition technology headline features

Oppo Malaysia is proud to introduce a new variant of its F5 with the F5 6GB in two colour – black and red.

Packing more power with an Octa-core processor, higher 6GB of RAM, compared to the previous edition, and 64GB of storage, the F5 6GB is said to offer smoother gaming, switching between apps and all-around experience. 

To cater more colour options to the consumer, Oppo F5 6GB comes in two colour variants, which are red and black colour. The gorgeous shades of red or black at the back of device is sure to give a sophisticated feel to the Oppo F5 6GB.

Just like the Oppo F5, the Oppo F5 6GB also features 20-Megapixel for the front camera, paired with f/2.0 aperture and A.I. Beauty Recognition technology. Oppo's A.I. Beauty Recognition technology gathers information and learns the specific facial features of different people from its global image database of human faces. Professional photographers and make-up artists were consulted during the R&D process, resulting in the A.I. technology having the ability to emulate those professional skills that can help selfies look more attractive.

Additionally, the A.I. Beauty Recognition is said to be able to recognize the subjects’ skin tone and type, gender and age, match them against its database and subsequently make beautification enhancements that are personalized for each individual in the selfie. 

The new Oppo F5 6GB comes with 6-inch Full Screen ‘FHD+ display’ and features a high resolution 2,160 x 1,080 screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. It also introduces ‘Facial Unlock’, the new face recognition technology that will recognize its user and unlock the phone.

Oppo F5 6GB (Red Edition) pre-order period starts from 6th December 2017, 12.30pm onwards at Oppo Concept Stores and Oppo Official Website. It will retail at RM1,698, Oppo F5 6GB in red and black variants will officially start selling from 16th December 2017 onwards.
