Acer Malaysia Launches Two Series Of PCs For Under US$900

• The XC is small while the TC has a built-in DVD-RW drive
• These new Aspire desktops come with 13th Gen Intel Core processors

Acer Malaysia recently announced the new Aspire XC and Aspire TC desktops that feature 13th Gen Intel Core processors. The 8L sized Aspire XC is meant to be compact while the 16L Aspire TC has a built-in DVD-RW drive.

The Aspire XC (pic left) is available in five configurations with a price ranging from US$433 (RM1,949) to US$865 (RM3,899), with an 13th Gen Intel Core processors ranging from i3 to i7, RAM from 4GB to 8GB (upgradeable to 32GB), and 256GB to 512GB of storage. 

On the other hand, the Aspire TC (pic right) is available in two configurations a US$466 (RM2,099) model and a US$532 (RM2,399) model. One has a 13th Gen Intel Core i3 processor while the other has an i5. Both variants come with 4GB of RAM (upgradeable to 32GB), 512GB of storage, and a DVD-RW drive.

All models are compatible with Wi-Fi 6E. Despite the size difference, all are expandable through a PCIe x16 slot and a PCIe x1 slot. 

They also share the same number of ports. There is a card reader, a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type C port two audio jacks and a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type A port in front. In the back, there are two HDMI ports, 1 LAN port, three audio jacks, four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port.

Windows 11 Home edition comes preinstalled.
