Acer unveils super slim All-In-One desktop

ACER has kicked off 2018 with a new All-In-One (AIO) desktop, the Aspire S24 that combines functionality and performance within a space-saving design.
Touted as Acer’s slimmest desktop, the Aspire S24 has a sheer 5.97mm ultra-thin side profile. It has a 23.8-inch full HD IPS screen has a narrow 2.7mm narrow bezel that provides a 90% screen-to-body ratio, giving you more screen real estate.
The slim bezel design also makes the Aspire S24 compatible with multi-monitor setups, perfect for those who often work with multiple windows opened.
For added flexibility, the screen can be tilted from -5 to 25 degrees for a comfortable viewing experience.
Encased in black and matte gold colours, the Aspire S24 exhibits a stylish exterior that adds a dash of sophistication and complements your existing home decor.
Underneath it has an 8th generation Intel core processor with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB HDD of storage with a 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD) that provides ample room for storing content put together.
The Aspire S24’s media capabilities are complemented by 2.1 channel subwoofer that is supported by Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony technology.
Just beneath the screen, the Aspire S24 holds a wireless charging base that supports wireless charging for any Qi-enabled devices, negating the need for cumbersome wires and cables.
During the launch event, DNA observed that smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 were compatible with the wireless charging base on the Aspire S24.
According to Acer, the Aspire S24 is available now at a suggested retail price of US$1,121 (RM4,399).
