Acer updates product lineup

Hot on the heels of Lenovo Malaysia, Acer has unveiled its latest product lineup for the country. Headlining the range of new products is the Switch Alpha 12, the industry's first fanless 2-in-1 laptop to use a 6th Generation Intel Core processor.
Acer director of products, sales and marketing, Chan Weng Hong said, "Acer is constantly innovating our products and designs in our transformation to become a hardware + software + services company. The launch of this latest product lineup is part of Acer's effort to energise and accelerate this transformation."
Other exciting products that were launched included the Aspire S 13, Aspire R 15, Aspire E & F Series and Acer R1 Series monitors. The new Switch Alpha 12 with Windows 10 uses the company's proprietary liquid cooling technology, the Acer LiquidLoop, that allows for silent and reliable operation. Acer also claims 8-hour battery life.
The Switch Alpha 12 has a 12-inch touch display with a 2160 x 1440 resolution. It will be available in Malaysia at a starting price of RM2,499.
At only 14.58mm, the Aspire S 13 is a 13.3-inch ultra-thin laptop. Acer says, at 1.3kg, it is one of the thinnest ultrabooks in the world. It has a starting price of RM2,799.
The new R1 Series monitors boast an ultra-thin enclosure, at only 6.6mm on its edge with ZeroFrame bezel for maximized viewing experience. They have a 178-degree wide viewing angle and retails at a starting price of RM479.
