Canon updates camera lineup

CANON Marketing has updated its entire range of EOS, PowerShot and Ixus cameras.
The EOS-1D X Mark II is Canon’s new professional flagship camera aimed at the journalism, sports, and wildlife photography markets.
The EOS-1D X Mark II has a newly developed 35mm full frame CMOS sensor, dual DIGIC 6+ image processors, 20.2-megapixel resolution and expanded ISO speeds of up to 409,600. According to Canon, the new 360,000 pixel RGB + IR metering sensor and EOS iTR AF system on the EOS-1D X Mark II also improves tracking precision.
This camera’s Full HD recording feature comes with a new High Frame Rate mode that allows recording at 120/100, enabling slow motion video recording.
With the addition of the Dual Pixel CMOS auto focus, users benefit from extremely fast auto-focusing and efficient tracking of moving subjects without aperture limitations.

The EOS-1D X Mark II is encased in a magnesium alloy body which is dust and drip-proof. For the first time in the EOS-1D series, GPS is built into the body of the camera. This allows all the photos to be tagged with accurate location information,

The PowerShot lineup has also been refreshed with the PowerShot G7 X Mark II. Powered by Canon’s new DIGIC 7 image processor, the PowerShot G7 X Mark II is equipped to detect and track subjects quicker. It has a large aperture f/1.8-f/2.8 4.2x zoom lens and 20.1 megapixel CMOS sensor.
The new Ixus cameras are also equipped with the Canon DIGIC 4+ image processors, 20 megapixel sensors and a zoom range of up to 12x in the Ixus 285 HS. Uploading and sharing of photos or videos on social media platforms is also easy with the built-in Wi-Fi and NFC.
