Honor 10 Lite debuts in Malaysia

HONOR, a sub-brand of Chinese phone maker Huawei, has announced its latest smartphone the Honor 10 Lite.
The 6.21-inch device will come in two models with a 3GB RAM + 32GB and 3GB + 64GB variant. The regular recommended retail price is set at US$182 (RM749) and US$194 (RM799) respectively.
The Honor 10 Lite features the company’s well-known Aurora pattern with colours that transition between different shades in the light.
A small waterdrop-style notch design is featured on the front where it houses a 24-Megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera. It comes with added selfie features such as colour adjustments, skin smoothing and different studio lighting modes to name a few.
On the glass back, it will have a dual camera setup comprising of a 13-Megapixel f/1.8 primary camera and 2-Megapixel f/2.4 depth sensing camera.
Keeping to its budget nature, it comes powered by Huawei’s Kirin 710 mobile chipset and on the bottom it has a micro USB port. Don’t worry headphone lovers, there is still a headphone jack on the Honor 10 Lite.
Also, if you ever feel the need to add on more storage, there is a microSD card slot that accepts cards up to 512GB in size.
Aside from that, the Honor 10 Lite will run on EMUI 9.1, based on Android 9 Pie.
At the time of writing, there is a special sale for the Honor 10 Lite at RM699 at hihonor.com.my and Lazada Malaysia. Keep in mind that the sale is limited to the first 500 units.
