Illegear refreshes gaming laptop lineup with GeForce RTX graphics

FOLLOWING Nvidia’s announcements of a new range of GeForce RTX graphics at the Consumer Electronics Show 2019, Illegear has refreshed its line of Onyx and Selenite gaming laptops.

The Malaysian PC gaming device maker claims the two new models are poised to raise the bar for gaming performance with the all new Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 and RTX 2060 graphics.

The sole differentiator is that the Onyx’s RTX 2070 8GB GDDR6 uses Max-Q technology as opposed to the Selenite variant which uses Max-P technology.

Featuring an anodised aluminium body, the two gaming laptops are built with thermal cooling systems that keep them cool even as the battle blazes on.

With the all new Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics, the Onyx and Selenite are filled with a fast 144Hz IPS display to help gamers stay on top of the action. Another common feature on the two laptops is a silent mechanical keyboard with Geneswitch Brown keys.

The Illegear Selenite is available for a starting price of US$1,725 (RM7,099) while the Onyx has a starting price of US$1,215 (RM4,999).
