Jaybird introduces two new wireless sport headphones

AUDIO company Jaybird announced that it has brought in two new wireless sport headphone models namely the X3 and Freedom in Malaysia thanks to its official distributor Funsportz.

Small and compact yet powerful in delivering audio, the X3 and Freedom wireless headphones are primarily designed for gym goers.

They are said to bring bigger sound thanks to an enhanced 6mm driver that brings out the best in your music selection.

Both pairs of headphones come with comfortable ear fins and a selection of ear tips to provide a snug and secure fit so that they stay in place no matter how rigorous your workout.

Don’t sweat it if you have an intense workout session and sweat profusely as the headphones are sweat proof.

With Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, users can pair two sets of X3 headphones to one device and even pair two devices simultaneously to one X3 for even greater song selection.

In terms of battery longevity, expect to get eight hours of battery life on a single charge on both the headphones.

The main difference between the two models is the Freedom’s ability to provide on-the-go charging with a charging clip that provides an additional four hours of battery life to the base four hours of battery.

Both headphones can be linked to the Jaybird app that allows users to customise the sound setting to the way they want to hear their music.

“Jaybird has been focused on designing superior wireless experiences for more than a decade,” said Logitech Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines & Brunei country manager KP Sim. Logitech acquired Jaybird in 2016 for US$50 million.

Sim says that the Jaybird headphones deliver great audio quality while providing a secure sport fit that complements an active lifestyle.

The headphones will be available in a variety of different colours with the Jaybird X3 coming in black, white, red and green while the Freedom comes in black, red and blue.

The Jaybird X3 wireless sports headphones and Freedom wireless headphones will be available at US$156 (RM669) and US$163 (RM699) respectively.
