- Designed to be durable yet comfortable to wear during long gaming sessions
- Higher end model features virtual surround sound simulation
HEARING is essential when you are clocking in serious game time so Logitech G, a brand under peripheral maker Logitech, announced its new G433 7.1 gaming headset and G233 Prodigy gaming headset.
Both headsets feature Logitech’s patent-pending Pro-G drivers that are made with hybrid mesh materials that are said to provide superior audio quality, delivering clear highs and lows with minimal distortion.
Logitech G goes on to say that the sound profile is accurate on any source, be it from an analogue reproduction and digital USB output.
The Logitech G433 utilises DTS Headphone X technology that it claims to accurately replicate a 7.1 speaker environment and audio positioning. This allows gamers to fully immerse themselves in the in-game environment’s sounds to determine how far enemies are and which direction they are coming from.
Made to be taken on the go, both the G433 and G233 are durable yet lightweight, maintaining great levels of comfort.
The G433 has a hydrophobic and stain-resistant fabric finish that comes in three colours: royal blue, fire red and triple Black while the G233 comes in a soft-touch black material with cyan blue ear pads.
Both the headsets feature sports mesh ear pads that are breathable and can be easily removed for cleaning. The G433 comes with a second set of microfiber ear pads, so you get to choose which material suits you.
In terms of platform compatibility, the two headphones work with PCs, consoles (including the Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One and Nintendo Switch) as well as mobile devices.
The G433 and G233 gaming headsets are priced at US$117 (RM499) and US$86.45 (RM369) respectively and are set to be available by July 2017.
