New challenges await Lineage 2 Revolution players

• First follow up content post launch of the mobile MMORPG game
• New bosses, dangerous dungeons and chance to win more loot await players

IT MAY have been less than a month since South Korean mobile game company Netmarble released its free-to-play mobile (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) MMORPG Lineage 2 Revolution but the company has wasted no time in adding additional content for the game.

The game which was launched across Asia in Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia is set to receive an expansion that adds new clan dungeon bosses and additional areas to the dungeon, the Tower of Insolence.

Providing additional challenge to mobile RPG fans, two new boss characters the Varkaron and Queen Ant will be waiting for players. Beginners just starting in the game out will take on the Queen Ant with a party of just 5 members while the tougher Varkaron needs a party of at least 20 to challenge it.

For those seeking to test their limits, ascend the Tower of Insolence to defeat monsters on each floor, now expanded to 70 floors. Players can receive runes that help strengthen their character as they move from floor to floor and defeat strong foes.

There is also a new boss character called the Amadeus that lurks in the open field of Summit of Dissonance. With high health and deadly attacks, players need to co-operate together in order to vanquish it.

Netmarble also stated that there will be a player event within the game that will give away in game items until July 25.

During the same period, there will be a dice event where players can roll a dice and receive various items as rewards. Players are allotted dice rolls by accumulating points from clearing dungeons or participating in game activities like the arena.

Lineage 2 Revolution leverages on its heritage from the popular PC online game Lineage 2. The mobile game features graphics powered by the Unreal 4 Engine that allows it to stay true to the PC original and provide an experience that is akin to the original game.
