Shoe brand 7 Ltd makes online debut

• Launched flagship collection in April via Facebook
• Part of its profits goes to ‘no kill’ animal shelters in Malaysia

KUALA Lumpur-based ladies’ shoes brand 7 Ltd has unveiled its official online store at www.7ltd.co.
 
The new company, which only launched its flagship collection in April 2014 via Facebook and a series of preview sales, features shoes that are designed inhouse and handmade in Malaysia.
 
One feature of the website is the provision of the actual length measurements of each shoe size for each style, to enable customers to select their shoe size as accurately as possible, the company said in a statement.
 
7 Ltd said it also gives part of its profits to ‘no kill’ animal shelters in Malaysia, and its mid-term plan is to launch a programme that would give women a ‘leg-up’ in life.
 
“As entrepreneurs, we have the opportunity to rethink the way we do business and how it affects those around us,” said founder Joan Shunmugam.
 
“I am confident that there is a growing local market for socially-conscious purchases,” she added.
