Egogohub expands to Indonesia

HONGKONG based e-commerce enabler Egogohub expands to Indonesia by providing end-to-end solutions to local e-commerce brands and merchants.

Egogohub group chief executive officer Kevin So sees Indonesia as the best place for the e-commerce industry to grow.

“People in this country have the habit of spending time online and accessing search engines for entertainment and shopping purposes.”

He said that traditional brands who want to shift to e-commerce do not have the structure yet. They also lack the talent, resources and technology to turn data into useful information.

Egogohub Indonesia provide services ranging from digital to fulfillment such as direct marketing, traffic via digital marketing (social media marketing, SEO services, digital design, website design, e-mail marketing, and pay-per-click [PPC]), and customer relationship management (CRM) to ensure customer transactions and retention. They also offer service solutions for warehouse and fulfillment.

“We apply the ‘Growth Hacking’ method in helping clients to continue to grow and develop. One of them is by instilling ideas in all of its employees to be creative and grab new opportunity opportunities in developing a strategy and execution,” says Egogohub Indonesia president director Benny Tanadi.

The company has partnered with Tokopedia, Blibli.com, Bukalapak, Shopee and JD.id as sales conversion channels and several social media platforms as marketing diffusion channels.

“The way we maintain relationships with clients is to provide customer care programmes, we are here to help merchants to grow their businesses online.”

Launched in 2017, Egogohub operates in Hongkong, Taiwan, and Singapore. It also plans to expand to Vietnam by the end of this year.

“We also allow global brands that want to sell their products to the Indonesian market through us and vice versa.”

He explains that now the company has acquired seven brands and will add another five brands (undisclosed) soon. It now has 50 experts in the company.

Globally, it has served clients from the electronics, fashion, and home brands such as Soul, Philips, Nakamichi, KateSpade, Tumi, Ted Baker, PetCube, and Sinomax.

Egogohub Indonesia targets all segments of brands from SMEs to the high-end on its e-commerce partners’ platforms.

Benny is unable to disclose the details on funding sources of the company, and says that the company will target to create awareness through partners.
