HONESTBEE, Singapore’s home-grown concierge and delivery service celebrates its second anniversary this month by cementing its position as the largest and fastest fresh grocery e-commerce service in Southeast Asia.

honestbee has a wide selection of fresh groceries online that can be delivered within an hour. With new business verticals like food and laundry, honestbee’s vision of becoming the most convenient on-demand services marketplace is starting to shape up.

Within two years, honestbee has expanded to its eighth city, Tokyo, Japan which launched two weeks ago. honestbee is currently present in eight key cities including Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Taipei, Tokyo and Bangkok.

honestbee's network of trained, on-demand personal shoppers (Shopper Bees), proprietary logistics, e-commerce technology, and demand-driven consumption data allow the startup to optimise services to meet country-specific customers’ needs.

These include purchase and delivery services across fresh groceries, toiletries, cooked food, laundry, medicine and business courier.

“We started out as a groceries delivery service in 2015 to provide jobs and serve time-starved families. As part of our second anniversary, we are celebrating multiple business, customer and organisational milestones two years down the road. More than 20,000 hours of training have been invested to ensure that individuals are specialists in shopping for fresh groceries.

Food delivery: Increased delivery radius and food options in Singapore

With the success of honestbee’s food delivery service launched in May 2016, it now expands its delivery radius island-wide featuring more than 1,000 food & beverage merchants.

Featured merchants include favourites like Awfully Chocolate, Two Blur Guys, Hong Seng Curry Rice, Jumbo Seafood and more. This service is available on both web and app.
