Asia Pacific PC shipments down, Singapore hardest hit
Asia Pacific personal computer shipments totaled 30.3 million units in the second quarter of 2012, a 2.6% decline compared with the same quarter in 2011, according to Gartner. The most notable decline came from China’s PC market at 5.4%, marking its first year-on-year negative growth ever.
Lenovo unveils new laptops, launches lifestyle campaign
Chinese PC maker Lenovo has lifted the veil on its latest business and consumer products, which the company said would suit different consumers' computing needs, styles and palette preferences. The machines are based on Intel's latest 3rd generation Intel Core processors.
