Mobile data traffic in the Asia Pacific region, excluding China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand, is projected to experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 69% from 2014 and increase by 14-fold by 2019.
IPv4 being exhausted, Europe leads IPv6 adoption: Akamai
The Internet world continued to use IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4), whose list of available IP or website addresses are quickly being exhausted, while adoption of the newer IPv6 protocol continues at a slow pace, according to the latest ‘State of the Internet’ report by Akamai Technologies Inc.
