TubeMogul announces new leadership for SEA, China

• Darin Williams to head SEA ops, has worked at Nielsen, LinkedIn and Facebook
• Jeffery Zheng appointed MD of Greater China, has worked Ogilvy & Mather and Yahoo!

 
DIGITAL branding software company TubeMogul Inc has announced the appointment of two senior digital industry executives to spur growth in its South-East Asia and China operations.
 
The South-East Asia operations will be headed by Darin Williams (pic above), who has worked in Asia for more than 15 years in executive roles at Nielsen, LinkedIn, and Facebook, TubeMogul said in a statement.
 
He worked in senior roles for Nielsen in Japan, Australia, Korea, and Vietnam over a 14-year period, and is a former director of Facebook’s South-East Asia operations. He was also previously head of Talent Solutions for LinkedIn in South-East Asia.
 
TubeMogul launched in South-East Asia three years ago and has established a sales, trading and operations team that delivers programmatic video advertising campaigns across 10 markets in the region.
 
This year, it opened its office in Shanghai, and expects to substantially expand its China operations next year.
 
The company announced Jeffery Zheng has been appointed managing director, Greater China. He previously held senior positions with Ogilvy & Mather, Yahoo!, and Renren, in Taiwan and China.
 
“I am extremely confident that both Jeffery [Zheng] and Darin [Williams] will bring a new level of energy and strategic focus to TubeMogul in China and South-East Asia,” said TubeMogul vice president of Asia Susan Salop.
 
“The last two years have been extremely dynamic for TubeMogul due to our focus on delivering new and innovative software tools to advertisers, and we plan to work closely with agencies, trading desks, publishers and brands to ensure they get the best possible results,” she added.
